I want to provide you with some guidance on the various columns you’ll find within the database:

Name: You will find the name of the card with its corresponding set number. For special cards (e.g., prerelease), I’ve included the information directly in this column.

Error Name: The most crucial column, where you’ll discover the type of error present on the card. I’ve divided errors into misprints and miscuts. “Misprint” indicates errors that occurred during the production and printing of the card, while the “Miscut” indicates errors that occurred during the cutting or packaging process. A small note regarding miscuts: I’ve indicated with Top – Bottom – Left – Right the side where the card’s border is thicker than usual. I’ve used 50/50 when the cutting error occurred on the exact middle of two cards.

Set: Indicates the specific set where you could find the card. I’ve included prerelease cards within their respective sets and haven’t considered them as promotional cards.

Language: Indicates the language of the card. If an error has appeared on the same card but in different languages, you’ll find more than one language indicated.

Picture: Clicking on it will show you the photo of the card.

Is it repeated?: I’m currently working on updating this column. The idea is to mark ‘Yes’ for errors repeated 3-4 times and not just once. It’s challenging to evaluate because many errors might be repeated but never released on the market. In the future, I will write a guide regarding what I call the ‘uncut sheet concept.’ In short, some errors occur on almost the entire printing sheet, meaning that finding a card with an error suggests that there are likely other cards from the same set with the same error.

Additional info: Additional information about the error. I usually include the name the community gave to the error (Es. No Illus. Blastoise, D Error Butterfree).

Color involved: Pokémon cards are printed using the offset printing technique and using the CMYK colour scheme (Blue, Red, Yellow, and Black). In this column, I indicate which colours were affected by the error.

Edition: Indicates whether the card is 1st edition, unlimited, promotional, or from a deck or another product.

Card Rarity: Indicates the rarity of the card in the set.

Is it reverse?: Some errors occurred only in the reverse version of the cards. To find out, you need to consult this column. Stamped cards from the EX era are considered reverse cards.

Submission date: The date on which I added the card to the database.
